Vinciprova, via Carella, and the area surrounding the salerno Railway Station are now on the brink of collapse.
The introduction of substitute buses due to the closure of the Naples–Salerno line via Cava is causing operational chaos, traffic congestion, delays, and significant safety concerns for both workers and passengers.
The situation is particularly dire at the Salerno Station, where the substitute vehicles are disrupting the regular public transport services, especially towards the Amalfi Coast and university campuses.
Drivers are forced to operate in overcrowded spaces, traffic is gridlocked, and parking areas are inadequate, creating an unsustainable scenario.
We request the convening of an operational meeting with the Municipality, Prefecture, and transport companies to implement urgent and extraordinary measures.
Mobility and safety cannot be managed under a state of constant emergency.
